The Manival #10: Independence Day Edition

Published by Brett & Kate McKay under Grooming

declaration_independence The Manival #10: Independence Day Edition

This week in the United States we’ll be celebrating our Independence Day. The group of men involved with the founding of the United States were some of history’s best and brightest. They stood for the ideals that every man should aspire to. Among that group of men were military geniuses, inventors, and philosophers. It took men of valor and virtue to take on and defeat the most powerful military in the world. Simply amazing. While our country hasn’t been the perfect example of the ideals that the Founding Fathers espoused, those ideals are something we should continually strive to live up to. While you’re celebrating the 4th of July with your loved ones, take some time to think about the great men who helped make this country what it is today.

Now for the Manival.

Relationships

Womopo presents 3 Highly Effective Ways To Meet More Women. If you’re a single guy looking for love, Womopo suggests several places where you can meet the kind of woman you’d want to settle down with.

A Good Husband asks What Does Religion Mean to Your Marriage? Cory recently did a survey about religion’s place in people’s marriages. There were some interesting results.

iamhusband asks and discusses Why Doesn’t She Want Sex Like I Do? According to iamhusband, men need sex to feel loved and women need love to have sex. While it seems like a setup destined for frustration, this post suggests ways men can be better husbands and show selfless love for their wives.

The Simple Marriage Project takes on the issue that has plagued many a married man: the wandering eye. In Man Up: It’s Just Window Shopping, Right? Corey argues that “window shopping” isn’t as harmless as men think it is to a relationship.

Hayden Tompkins discusses Why She Loves Dating an Older Man. Hayden is the author of Persistent Illusion and one of Art of Manliness’ favorite female readers. Hayden discusses why she enjoyed dating and marrying her husband, an older man. Hayden’s husband sounds like quite a guy.

Fatherhood

Jeremy at Discovering dad asked several dad bloggers what they think about honest communication. The post originated from a question that a mom blogger had. Great discussion on having better and more open communication between you and your spouse.

Harrowed Parent talks about how he’s implementing Father-Son Bonding Time. The take away: start early and make time for it.

Dad of Divas presents A Father as a Beacon to his children. This is a really great post. He makes a great analogy of fathers as lighthouses for their children. Like lighthouses, fathers should put out a beacon of light so their children know how to stay out of harm’s way.

Totally Consumed presents On Being a Stand-Up Guy: For Dad. This man’s father is an example to all men on what it means to be a good husband. It means giving and expecting the best from those around you.

Daddy Brain presents Equal Rights for Kids, Part 1: Let Your Kids Decide. Helping your kids make decisions on their own is important, but remember, you’re the parent. Don’t let them run the house.

Being Michael’s Daddy presents Traditions, a humorous look at one man’s goal at creating family traditions with his son.

John Stewart discusses careless and stupid parents. Being a good father means not doing things that will harm your children. I am amazed by the guy who put his toddler in a plastic bag. What an imbecile.

Sports, Health, and Recreation

Fat Man Unleashed presents The Best Foods For Men. A nice post that summarizes Men’s Health Magazine’s list of 125 best foods for men.

James Hills presents Mancation Story: Annual Buffalo Bills Away Game and breaks down a mancation that one group of men took. It’s cool reading how they planned and carried out their man trip.

Primer Magazine presents Hero Training: Evacuating the Wounded. Are you ready to carry out a wounded person? This article shows some techniques on carrying a wounded person.

Manning Up

Return to Manliness presents Manliness Trait: Try To Be Interesting, But ALWAYS Be Interested. Dale Carnegie said the best way to be charming is be interested in other people. Put the focus on them and you’re sure to shine.

Stormbringer’s Thunder discusses the man hating that seems to be prevalent in society in Man Bad, Woman Good. Great points on the bad arguments some feminists make about men and the lousy portrayal men get in the media.

Alessandro presents Sprezzatura and gentlemanliness. He gives a nice review of a book called The Complete Gentleman: The Modern Man’s Guide to Chivalry. Looks like a good book. Have to put it on my “to read” list.

Paul Cat presents Is chivalry dead? This post takes on some of the arguments that chivalry is dead (or should be). Interesting responses. Personally I think men should still practice chivalry. Most women I know agree.

Fashion

Dr. Awesome presents Crocs and Clogs. No man should be caught dead in crocs or clogs. Crocodile skin boots are okay, though.

More Penis Enlargement Tips You Can Try From Home

How To Make Your Penis Larger From Home: Natural Male Enhancement Techniques for Beginners

In this article we are going to discuss how to make your penis larger from home. As someone who has written MANY articles on male enhancement techniques, I can tell you with complete confidence that natural approaches to enlargement are the safest, easiest and most hassle free of the popular ways to pump up your penis size. While there are several successful approaches you could try, MOST of them are over priced and under regulated….too important factors that ALWAYS pull me back to the natural and holistic approach instead. Continue reading as I shine a bright light on why I strongly believe holistic approaches to male enhancement are still the way to go. Read on..:-)

Filed Under: A Fork in the Road

Most men who are trying to build a bigger male anatomy with invariably try the most exotic approaches first: Pills, potions, lotions, pumps, pulleys and everything else under the sun that promises supersize overnight. Ultimately, when none of these work, most men come to the fork in the road. One direction leads to giving up, and accepting a lifetime of feelings of insecurity, inadequacy and even FEAR of intimacy - the other, a last ditch effort and approach to getting the gains you deserve. sumo.jpgMore often than not, especially if I can help it, this path leads to completely NATURAL male enhancement exercises you can do from home, are easy, inexpensive to learn and guaranteed to work. This is usually, as I’m sure you can guess, a much more EXCITING road to explore..:-)

The basic premise behind all natural approaches to male enhancement is that the more blood your penis can hold, the stronger, longer and more powerful it will become. There is lots of science behind this as well, but I won’t bore you here with more mumbo jumbo. Rather, I would encourage you to do your OWN due diligence to understand HOW your penis grows through exercises and muscle contractions. The biggest breakthrough I experienced was simply making the time to put in the effort. Remember, building a bigger anatomy is NO different than building your arms, chest or legs. You need to make the time and follow through with the same commitment and desire to get great gains. About 10-15 minutes a day is sufficient to see quantifiable results in less than two weeks.

Field Under: Understanding Your Anatomy

Remember, different exercises built different areas of your anatomy. There are different exercises for girth, (circumference) than there are for length, etc. Understanding and identifying your goals will go a LONG way in helping you achieve them. (no pun intended..:-)

Surefire Tips for a Wider Penis. Make Your Penis Girth Grow Quickly From Home

In this article we are going to tackle the topic of penis girth, and why it SHOULD be the focus on any beginning male enhancement regimen. Many men who are interested in building a bigger and more powerful penis very simply stick to what they believe are the "obvious" areas of anatomical improvement…NAMELY the length of your manhood. But the real advantage and FAR more desirable area to build (especially from a woman’s perspective) is the GIRTH or circumference of the penis. Read on as we explore and explain the easiest ways to achieve the kinds of gains you can be proud of!

Filed Under: Natural Enhancement Exercises for Girth

As we mentioned above, in just about EVERY survey on penis size, women acknowledge that length really doesn’t make that much of a difference to them from the standpoint of sexual enhancement or pleasure. What does matter, is your WIDTH! So if becoming a larger, more powerful and ATTRACTIVE lover is on your list of things to do, this should be the area you focus on for sure.

There are a BUNCH of good girth oriented exercises, but for this article I’d like to focus on one simple one for beginners. Simply dedicate 10 minutes every morning to this, and you should see gains beginning in just about a week. Take a quick warm shower, and change into something comfortable. Obviously make sure you will be undisturbed for the length of time necessary to complete the exercise. In a semi or full erect state, you are going to flex the PC muscles by contracting them in short intervals, with the intended goal of "lifting" your penis perpendicular to your pelvis with each elevation. You should be able to hold yourself (no hands obviously) in this position for 10-12 seconds per repetition. If you can’t…simply work up to it. This exercise, in its’ simplest form, will generate MORE blood to to corposa cavernosa, and you will see the "strain" after a series of reps, and FEEL the effort almost immediately as well.

There are lots of ways to turbo charge this exercise for incredible gains, but for basic beginners, this should go far to impress upon you the effectiveness of natural male exercises, AND give you some tangible, quantifiable gains in girth straight out of the gate!

Kazakh Supermodel Committed Suicide

Published by Dustcakeboy under Models

Kazakh supermodel Ruslana Korshunova, 20 years old, leaped from the 9th floor balcony of her Manhattan apartment yesterday. The young model died from blunt impact injuries. Her death had been ruled as suicide, as several witnesses saw her leaped from the balcony of her apartment and police sources reported that there was no sign of struggle inside her apartment.

The young Ruslana Korshunova appeared in the covers of European editions of Elle and Vogue and had represented the designers Betsey Johnson and Jill Stuart on the catwalk. She was also featured in recent years of British Vogue as “the next big thing” in the modeling community and was featured in ads by Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior and DKNY.

Her family and friends do not have any idea as to what could be the motive behind her suicide. Her friends said she was in good spirit prior to the incident and that suicide was incomprehensible. Nonetheless, it was revealed that in the latest months, the top model wrote emotionally revealing poems such as, "It hurts, as if someone took a part of me, tore it out, mercilessly stomped all over and threw it out... My dream is to fly. Oh, my rainbow it is too high."

Even as a very promising model, Ruslana Korshunova succumbs to depressed moments in life like any other talent. Thus it is very important to seek advice from friends and from the people we trust around the industry, as well as to open our selves to others and not just keep the burdens inside and pretend that we are happy. For any models (promising or not), success does not just simply mean reaching to the top of the fashion industry, it is also surviving all the emotional confusions and personal dilemmas that are meet and left on the way.
