Kristen Stewart: Hotel Café Cutie

Rounding out the weekend with a fun-filled outing, Kristen Stewart showed up at the Hotel Café in Hollywood for a concert last night (March 3).

The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” starlet was joined by Katy Perry’s assistant Tamra Natisin and a few friends as she made her exit and scurried off to her car to avoid the shutterbugs.

Meanwhile, it seems Miss Stewart is longing for the companionship of Robert Pattinson despite their myriad issues.

An insider told press, "Kristen is really missing Rob. Regardless of their romantic relationship, they are still really good friends. That is something that won't change. Kristen is not ready to say goodbye to this relationship and will do whatever it takes to make it work."

"She is just being patient and spending a lot of time with her mom. Her mom has been very supportive and just keeps encouraging her to be true to herself and to keep things simple."

‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ Reviews: Is This the Best ‘Twilight’ Ever?

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" hits theaters Friday, and reviewers are weighing in about whether the vampire finale is bloody good or a lifeless mess.

Regardless of the critical consensus, Twi-hards are almost certain to show up, but based on the early notices "Part 2" is more likely to be shortlisted for Razzies than Oscars come awards time. The film scored a lackluster 52 percent "rotten" rating on critics aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with many reviewers breaking out the garlic and stakes to condemn the film's sluggish pacing and wooden performances.

"Part 2" focuses on Bella (Kristen Stewart) as she adjusts to life as a mother and a vampire. Robert Pattinson returns as the brooding bloodsucker Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner is back as the oft-shirtless, part werewolf Jacob.

On TheWrap, critic Alonso Duralde was largely positive, praising director Bill Condon for bringing some bite to the franchise. Where the film falls short, he argued, is in its source material -- the series of novels by Stephenie Meyer that started a phenomenon but were derided for their tortured prose.

‘Twilight’ Stars: What’s Next, Now That the Sun Has Set

Much to millions of Twi-Hards' dismay, the "Twilight Saga" comes to a close this weekend with the arrival of the franchise's fourth installment, "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2."

Of course, while tweens may be weeping over the end of Edward and Bella's blockbuster romance, the actors still have their careers to worry about. Both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart already have set out on a path that would have them taken more seriously -- though not entirely successfully.

And Taylor Lautner, following the release of the first "Twilight," went the blockbuster route, demanding high salaries for his part in "Abduction," which opened badly to "Stretch Armstrong," which didn't open at all.

So what does the future hold for Edward, Bella, Jacob and the rest of the Cullen clan?  Let's take a look.

ROBERT PATTINSON

Pattinson doesn't give up. Even though roles in more serious fare like "Bel Ami," "Cosmopolis" and "Water for Elephants" barely made a dent at the box office, he keeps on chugging.

The 26-year-old actor is set to star in five upcoming dramas for 2013.

"Mission: Blacklist," described as a ...

‘Breaking Dawn’ After-Party Has PETA Howling-Mad Over Caged Wolves

PETA is sinking its teeth into "Breaking Dawn: Part 2." Or at least the after-party for the highly anticipated vampire movie.

The animal-rights organization has some biting criticism of the post-premiere soiree at L.A. Live on Monday, which included three caged wolves as part of the festivities.

(For those unfamiliar with the "Twilight" films, werewolves feature prominently in the story, along with vampires.)

"Didn't it dawn on the 'Twilight' event organizers that real wolves do not belong at a party with blaring music and flashing lights?" a spokeswoman for the organization told TheWrap in a statement Monday.

PETA was additionally incensed by the fact that Hollywood Animals, which the organization accuses of animal mistreatment, was chosen to provide the creatures for the bash.

"The wolves were provided by Hollywood Animals, a notorious exhibitor that has been cited for numerous violations of the Animal Welfare Act for repeatedly failing to provide the animals it exploits with basic veterinary care, proper shelter, food, and water," ...

‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ Review: Vampiric Malarky Ends With Some Bite

Now that this latest "Twilight" sequel caps off the series, and with it the pronouncements from teen girls of all ages and genders of whether they are "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob," let me make my affiliation clear.

I'm Team Bill Condon.

The gifted director behind "Dreamgirls" and "Kinsey" and "Gods and Monsters" is too talented by leagues for this material, yet he's never suffused either of the "Breaking Dawn" movies with even a drop of condescension.

Instead, he's dug in with all of his silk-purse-making skill, injecting wit and style whenever possible, giving fans of the series more than they knew they wanted while valiantly creating entertainment for non-believers.

Tellingly, it's when Condon and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg veer away from Stephenie Meyer's turgid text that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" actually comes to life and turns into something bold and outrageous that will thrill both detractors and (if the fan-packed preview audience with whom I saw the movie is any indication) Twi-hards alike. Their naughty deviation from canon ends far too soon, but it's a daring gambit ...

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Act Eerily Natural in First Joint Interview Since Cheating Scandal (Video)

Contrary to what some critics of the "Twilight" movies might say, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart can act.

Or, at least, they can pull off a fairly passable portrayal of a couple who didn't just have their relationship torn asunder by infidelity.

The "Twilight" stars and real-life couple appeared on MTV on Thursday night with their costar Taylor Lautner to promote "Breaking Dawn Part 2," the final film in the hugely successful vampire movie series, marking the first time that the pair have been interviewed together since Stewart admitted to having an affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

Though Pattinson admitted "I just feel very funny" during the interview, the 26-year-old gave no indication that he'd just spent half the summer licking his wounds after being subjected to abject and very public humiliation by his unfaithful girlfriend.
