“The Insider” has obtained a
multi-million dollar lawsuit filed by
Jennifer Lopez against her ex-husband
Ojani Noa, who Lopez claims is trying to release a movie about their marriage as well as home-video footage of her. The story follows: Lopez accuses Noa and another defendant,
Ed Meyer, of producing and marketing a proposed feature film called ‘How I Married
Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story.’ The star singer and actress contends that such a project would violate a settlement agreement (containing non-disparagement and non-disclosure clauses) she and Noa entered into in 2005. Lopez also alleges that Meyer sent her attorney an email stating that he’d purchased from Noa the “exclusive rights” to “11+ hours of previously unseen home video footage” of the ex couple. She claims a second email from Meyer to her lawyer described the footage as showing Lopez “in [a] revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the
hotel room footage from [her and Noa’s] honeymoon.” Lopez is suing the defendants for no less than $10,000,000. She and Noa married in 1997 and divorced less than a year later.
